Mix ingredients except for sodium lactate, vitamin solution, NaHCO3 and Na2S·9H2O. Dispense the medium into suitable culture vessels and autoclave under a N2 atmosphere. Separately autoclave concentrated sulfide solution under a N2 atmosphere. Sterilize lactate, vitamin and NaHCO3 solutions by filtration. Prior to inoculation, aseptically and anaerobically add lactate, vitamin, NaHCO3 and sulfide solutions. Final pH is 7.2-7.5. *Trace element solution SL-10
