Yeast extract 5 g   Bacto Casamino Acids (Difco) 5 g   KH2PO4 1 g   KCl 1 g   NH4Cl 1 g   MgSO4·7H2O 0.24 g   CaSO4·2H2O 0.17 g   Sodium glutamate 1 g   Na2CO3 5 g   NaCl 250 g   Distilled water, make up to 1 L   Agar (if needed)* 20 g     Adjust pH to 6.5 before autoclaving. Sterilize Na2CO3 in solution separately, and add to other autoclaved ingredients. Check the final pH is between 9.0 - 9.5.                   *Dissolve agar by heating before adding NaCl.
