Composition
Bacto Yeast Extract (Difco)* 1 g   (NH4)2SO4 1.3 g   KH2PO4 0.28 g   MgSO4·7H2O 0.25 g   CaCl2·2H2O 0.07 g   FeCl3·6H2O 0.02 g   MnCl2·4H2O 0.018 g   Na2B4O7 4.5 mg   ZnSO4·7H2O 0.22 mg   Na2MoO3·2H2O 0.05 mg   Distilled water 1 L   Adjust pH to 3.5 with 10 N H2SO4                     *Sterilize by filtration as 5% solution, and add to other ingredients sterilized by autoclaving.     For solid medium, equal volumes of separately autoclaved double-strength liquid medium (pH 2.0) and 1.6% Gelrite (Kelco, Division of Merck & Co, Inc.) are mixed, after cooling to 45℃.
